Through collaborative free webinars presented by alumni, participants will explore AI tools for K-12 educational settings, engage in dialogue with Fulbright peers from around the globe, and prepare themselves to make informed, ethical decisions about AI usage in their schools and classrooms.
The series differs from other AI professional development offerings, in that it is designed specifically by and for the community of Fulbright Teacher Exchange alumni. Special attention will be spent on considerations for AI usage in contexts around the world and how educators can use it to further advance their students’ global competencies.
Alumni may register and attend any of the three webinars offered. It is not required to attend all three. Recordings will be available to registrants.
Webinar 1 - AI for Teachers: Instructional Methods and Workplace Hacks

Webinar 2 - Perspectives and Possibility: Getting Started with AI

Join this session for an accessible introduction to AI. Learn from educators who have worked at the administrative, instructional, and teacher training levels. Separate the weeds from the roses and discover practical applications of AI for your classroom.
Webinar 3 - The Ethics of Teaching with AI

In this session, Fulbright Teacher Exchange alumni engage in a deep discussion about the ethical implications of teaching with AI. When should students learn to use AI, and how should they use it? What are the risks and benefits of using AI as an instructional tool? Prepare for student-facing conversations that address questions such as, “Who am I in a world with AI?” This session will grapple with school-wide concerns including costs, sustainability, community impact, and safety threats like deepfakes.
